Brief · material and process directionHERUN / DESIGNER-FOUNDED / SINCE 2005
HERUN is a fabric brand founded by a designer in Guangdong, China, in 2005. We develop colour, pattern, fibre, structure, hand and finishing through sampling and production. Garment projects extend this material work into form, wear and use.
A DESIGNER’S PERSPECTIVE
HERUN was founded by a designer. We start with how the product should feel and look, discuss lustre, hand, structure and use, then translate those judgements into sampling and process conversations.
HERUN coordinates design, materials and supply. Manufacturing is carried out by partners matched to the specification; costs, quality review and delivery responsibilities are defined per project.
DESIGN INTENT / CARRIED THROUGH
Each project starts with its own brief. Testing, review methods and delivery responsibilities are defined when samples and specifications are agreed.
